Planning events started with my Grandma. She was THE party planner. From decorations, etiguette, knowing how to have a good time, knwoing how to love on others, she was an incredible woman who taught me so much. When I was in high school, I had the privilege of planning some events with her. She instilled such a love for love, people, and events in me that I thrive off of to this day. And what better way to honor her and that memory than through my business. So here I am, now YOUR Fairy Godmother.
My name is Carissa. I am mama to three young men and wife to one incredible man. I wouldn’t be here without the support from the four of them. And they each find ways to help me for every event.
In 2016, one of my friends asked me to help plan her wedding…in 2 months. It was maical and I was able to begin pursuing this dream of mine. With three boys, you can imagine how much I look forward to the glitter, the dresses, the flowers, and all part of each new fairy tale! The boys are loud and wild. They keep me busy, and prepare me to handle any little mishap during your day. Besides coordinating chaos, I love being outdoors. We are a family who loves to be in nature. When I’m not doing events, you can findme in the yard with the kids and animals, creating projects, becoming one with the force, and finding ways to reuse and recycle.
While weddings are a favorite, I have been a part of planning all events from parties to birthdays, funerals to anniversaries, showers to weddings, golf tournaments to community festivals, and I’m prepared for anything in between. I know how hard it is to plan and create something so beautiful and meaningful. I want to take the stress away. No matter the event, everyone is there to celebrate and they should do exactly that. The look in the eyes of my clients after seeing their vision come to life is the BEST compliment I could ever receive. That is what I strive for with each event. My passion is focused on you.
